Movie You Must See is the online guide to the best cool, cult and curious movies that really must be watched. If you are fed up with the same old blockbusters and no-brain comedies then you have come to the right place. We really do have movies you must see! We aim to provide a guide that crosses genres, eras, continents and styles to bring you some of the most interesting, challenging and enjoyable films ever made. So if you have a friend, colleague or family member who is a bit of a movie buff, and you would like to surprise them with something unusual or cool then you have found the right site. You'll find a great selection of films to suit all tastes which are sure to make perfect gift ideas for any film fan! We've even included some trivia and titbits, so you can impress or bluff them with your knowledge. Movies you must see!

Our Criteria

We aim to avoid unnecessarily artistic or experimental movies. We admit that these can provide some of the greatest moments in cinematic history, but if a film is too long or you go home scratching your head, then it has no place on our list. We want to provide movies that you can enjoy, tell your friends about and perhaps discover a new gem for your collection.

We also aim to avoid the same old automatic classics. We all know that Citizen Kane, Godfather pt 2 and Raging Bull are classic movies. You don't need us to tell you that, so don't expect to find them listed on here.
